EQAR is the European Quality Assurance Register for quality assurance agencies whose procedures and practice have been evaluated and found overall compliant with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area(ESG).
The CTI was included into the EQAR in 2010 and confirmed in 2014 and 2019, following external evaluation procedures by ENQA, and EQAR’s own analysis of CTI’s overall compliance with the ESG.
In 2018, EQAR created a database, DEQAR (Database of External Quality Assurance Results), in order to publish evaluation reports. The purpose of a single European database is to ensure transparency and acknowledgement of engineering programmes evaluated by agencies in compliance with the ESG.
DEQAR CONNECT project : Enhancing the Coverage and Connectivity of Quality Assurance in the EHEA through DEQAR was ongoing from March 2020 to February 2022. It focused on two of the EHEA key commitments, supporting quality assurance and recognition inside the EHEA.
In the framework of this project, the CTI developped the automatic upload of its evaluation reports in DEQAR.
