BACKGROUND AND USEFULNESS OF THE CERTIFIED DATA
Since 2012, the CTI has asked French engineering schools to provide data on their engineering school and programmes on an annual basis. The aim of these data is to provide the public with clear and consistent information, and more broadly to contribute to the overall quality of French engineering courses.
The data are ‘certified’ by the director of the school who has access to the data entry portal. He/she cannot access the questionnaire without first validating a charter attesting to his/her commitment to sincerity and transparency.
The certified data are useful for monitoring each school’s engineering degree programmes during evaluation procedures, in particular thanks to the “datasheets” which provide an extraction of data over several years. They also make it easier to analyse the development of engineering courses as a whole.
The certified data form part of the documents required by the CTI and are published on its website and that of the engineering schools.
THE 2024 CERTIFIED DATA CAMPAIGN
The data entry portal is accessible from May 13th to June 30th 2024
(open until 23:59).
To report any errors or for any further information, engineering schools may contact the CTI at the following address: .
SUPPORT FOR DATA ENTRY
A support document for information on requested data lists the information to be filled in and specifies the definitions and calculation methods expected by the CTI. This support document can be used by anyone responsible for filling in all or part of the form.
The French version may be downloaded in WORD format by clicking here.
It is also available in PDF format by clicking here.
LOGIN DETAILS FOR DATA ENTRY
Portal: https://espace-ecole.cti-commission.fr/login
Login: School director’s e-mail address registered in the CTI database. One designated colleague may complete the data on-line, but the validation must be made by the head of the institution.
Password: if you do not have a password, simply click on “forgot password” and the system will automatically generate a new one and send it to the director’s e-mail address or the designated colleague.
As the data is certified by the director, he/she is the person to receive the password from the CTI that is useful for the final validation. If the director and/or email address has changed, it is important to inform the CTI.

CHARTER OF GOOD PRACTICE
The CTI may be approached by organizations with different missions and statuses (stakeholders, media, etc.) who wish to have wider access to this data and/or use it for different purposes.
The CTI’s Board examines the requests, and has the power to issue an authorisation to the requesting organization where appropriate.
All use of certified data is subject to a charter of good practice. It may be download by clicking here.
